PhD in Computer Science and Technologies for Smart Cities

The PhD Program in Computer Science and Technologies for Smart Cities at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid (UPM) is part of the official postgraduate offerings at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Sistemas Informáticos of the UPM.

The primary goal of the degree is to train highly qualified professionals for research and innovation in the field of Computer Engineering, specifically in computer science and technologies, which include the following specializations:

  1. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  2. Design of Complex Software Systems and applications
  3. Computer Architecture, Security, and Networks

The number of new entry slots offered will be 10. If the number of admitted applications exceeds this number, the Academic Committee of the PhD Program (CAPD: Comisión Académica del Programa de Doctorado) will be responsible for selecting and admitting applicants who meet the access requirements.
