Training Complements

Depending on their prior education, students may be required to complete certain supplementary credits in accordance with Article 7 of RD 99/2011. This supplementary training will depend on the specialization they choose for their research.

Supplementary Training Based on Admission Profile:

1. Students who have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field will not be required to complete any supplementary training.
2. Students who do not fall into the above category may be required to complete up to 18 additional ECTS credits.

These credits will be determined by the Academic Committee of the PhD Program (CAPD) based on the student ‘s prior education and the research area of their thesis. The credits may consist of courses from the degrees offered by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Informáticos (ETSISI), or a research project proposed by the student ‘s assigned tutor.
